It is said that Saturn would season the subject. If the role of Saturn is to season us why one need to bother about its malefic effects? Philosophically it may true that one need not bother about the transit Saturn whether it is in Virgo or Aries, should one is prepared to get seasoned!! Saturn the planet of wisdom and justice is perhaps the most dreaded and misunderstood among the nine planets as per the Vedic system. Besides fasting on Saturdays either fully or partially, having restrictions on your favorite food and beverages are also suggested as effective remedies. As far as the religious remedies are concerned, propitiation of Planet Saturn by reciting the 108 names of Saturn, worship of Lord Aanjaneya on Saturdays, performing of Maha Mrithunjaya Havana etc would bring better results. Wearing of Saturn Yanthra on an iron plate would also offset the evil effects. However appropriate and precise remedies for the individuals could be suggested only on examining the horoscope of the Individual.
