Ketu Dasa Remedies- How to Propitiate Ketu ,the Chaya Graha

I have been writing about the general results of Ketu dasa , means Ketu Main period and Ketu sub periods in my earlier posts. While the results of Ketu dasa would be elucidated in subsequent posts I have beenasked to write about the common remedies to mitigate the wrath of this planet. We are normally scary about the Ketu dasa results and its implications. No wonder people run from pillar to post once they have some unfortunate incidents during the course of malefic periods and try to connect to it to the bad period that they undergo and blame it on the planet and its fury. At the outset I would like to make it clear that no planet is malefic and no planet is bad . Planets as per Indian vedic system and Indian Philosophy are only Judges empowered to grant appropriate results fitting to the Karma one performed earlier, either in the same birth or in any of his/her previous incarnations. As such how can we attribute either evil or bad to any of these planets and their actions? Of course each planet has its own characteristics,qualities and behaviour and they operate in such sequence as it is deemed appropriate as per the will of the universal master or almighty who is the creator, sustainer and the destructor.Having understood this philosophy there is no point in blaming any of these planets or of the results during the operative period of the so called malefic planets. They just do the justice without any discrimination and make us free from the Karmic Bondage.Such being the case who is to be blamed for any misfortune of our life? No wonder !We ourselves are tobe blamed. Hence the remedy to mitigate the evil effects during the operative period of any planet also starts with oneself. In other words by remedy , we mean willingly accepting the hardship or willingly undoing whatever Karma we did in the past within the accepted rules and given circumstances. Karma has different connotations and encompasses any thoughtful action either performed physically , or mentally. Hence the first step towards performing any remedy for any malefic planet is to get ready to accept the verdict and to get convinced that we are in the process of freeing ourselves from the karmic bondage.
